More of "ME"

Hello again,

I have already told you some things about me, now I will bring you into my world. First off, I have allot of things planned for this new Blogging adventure. Unfortunately my computer crashed and I am now sharing the hubby's. And most of the things I am going to be putting on here are on my PC. As soon as it returns from the shop, my blog should look allot better and I will have pics for you all to enjoy.

On to "Me"
I have been diagnosed with OCD, (or CDO as I like to call it...its correctly alphabetized that way, lol) and this came as no surprise to my family. Who have been telling me for years that I was. I guess it isn't normal for you to want your food separated...down to the last little drip of juice???? But it does explain a lot of my quirkiness and all those little idiosyncrasies that define me. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder....kind of explains itself doesn't it? I obsessively run from one compulsion to the next. lol

One of my longest obsessions has to be 'The Sims" Followed of course by "The Sims2" And most likely "The Sims3" in the future. There is something to be said about completely controlling someones life, not to mention it is a place where I can put everything in order and in its place and it stays there! I can even lay out all of my houses by correctly allotted squares. Its a world where the couch does line up right under the window. Hey it's my kind of world! Now some of you might say 'That's not an obsession'...but believe me, with me it is. I have spent too many sleepless nights, when I knew I should have gone to bed, downloading content for my Sims...it is a tedious project and I have over 80, ooo downloads. I even spend money I know I should not spend, paying for pay site items. I have to have all the options in the world so that I can make my houses exactly like I want them...and I spend days making one house. Therefore it is classified as an obsession.

Not everything I do is an obsession, but there are many that I have come through and I'm reasonably sure there will be many more. WoW or World of Warcraft was one, and I have recently been aching to get my subscription to that one back. There are also all the little Apps on Facebook and Myspace. Especially Farmtown and now 101 Eggs and more. I have yet to find the true link between all the things that I easily become obsessed with. I have thought that maybe it is things that are fully and easily, ordered, setup or customizable. Just a thought.

Then there are things that I truly enjoy, just hobbies. Like Birdwatching. Birdwatching is truly just a passion of mine. I wanted to be an Ornithologist for a long time but there is no market for it where I live. I will however, put some of the pics of birds that I've taken on here when I can. I love Photography also. A moment in time captured forever, to be revisited at a moments notice, how wonderful. Ohhh, that absolutely beautiful smile or glistening rose that you captured in just the right light, now forever able to gaze upon. Perfect. And as I have mentioned already, Poetry, Writing and Painting. Completely amazing ways to express yourself. Plus I adore reading, there is nothing like escaping into a good book! And then the there is camping...it is hard for me to see how I love this one so much...it is dirty, lol...but the Nature is what keeps me doing it. Oh goodness, here I go rambling on, I told you this would happen.

This is only a taste of the things to come. You will read about, pretty much anything that is on my mind, things I enjoyed in a day, my family, and ALL my hobbies and even my newest obsessions. So stay tuned if you will for all of the Goodies in "Angela's World" where you are cordially invited to have a seat, throw up your feet, and have a good read.

Getting to know me

Well, first let me start by saying Hello. This is my first time ever really managing a blog, I mean I have posted a few things on my myspace or yahoo, but not a full blog. So here we go.

My name is Angela, I am 37 years old. I have been married for 19 years on August 13th to my beautiful husband Ben and we have a wonderful teenage daughter named Rebecca. I am a poet and an artist and am currently writing a book.

That out of the way let me say, I'm not really sure what is worth being noted here, if any of it...lol But I do hope that you will enjoy my random ramblings. I may post some of my poetry on here as well, and if I can maybe some of my art. And if not you can find my art at Deviantart.com under http://bzegrl.deviantart.com .
I love deviant art! I love all art but really enjoy the Human form, Nature, Eyes...eyes and more eyes, lol, Fantasy art, (not really into the sci-fi stuff) Fairy's, and realistic paintings of all sorts.
Some of my fav artists are- Amy Brown, Thomas Kinkade, Linda Bergkvist, there are many more but my brain is not working at the moment...lol. Also just about everyone at Deviantart. So much talent is on that sight!!

Ok, well, I have to go now. My sister is leaving for Georgia in the morning and we are having a family dinner and some down time with her and her family before they leave. God Im gonna miss them! But I will try to get back on here some time later.
